IGT appoints Joe Asher as new President of Sports activities Betting

Worldwide Match Technologies (IGT) has declared the appointment of its new President of Sports Betting. The position (successful 1 October) was offered to Joe Asher, previous William Hill CEO, who will now report immediately to Enrico Drago, CEO of Digital and Betting.

In the past weeks, IGT PlaySports has been growing into Washington, Colorado and Wisconsin. The company’s sports betting platform is also powering FanDuel’s sportsbook launch in Connecticut. Asher is now expected to go on IGT’s ongoing enlargement in North American marketplaces.

Asher served nine a long time as CEO of William Hill US (right until April 2021, when the organization was purchased by Caesars Enjoyment for $3.7bn) and 13 decades in whole with the sportsbook.
