Santur Corporation Adds Julian Osinski as VP, Product Marketing
FREMONT, California – August 19, 2002 – Santur Corporation, a vertically integrated manufacturer of optical components for telecommunications, has named Julian Osinski as VP, Product Marketing. Dr. Osinski has 18 years of experience in the optical components field, most recently in product management roles at SDL and JDS Uniphase.

Previously, Dr. Osinski managed diverse lines of high volume diode laser products into the medical, printing, materials processing, data storage, and telecommunications markets. Following the merger of SDL with JDS Uniphase, he managed the product launch of 14xx pump lasers for Raman amplification systems.

"He will help ensure we are building the right products at the right time and the right price, and his technical depth allows good communication with the customer at all levels."

Dr. Osinski obtained his Ph.D. from USC in the field of semiconductor lasers in 1992, and was a founding member of Bellcore, currently Telcordia Technologies. "I am excited to face the challenges of the marketplace with a first-rate team of people, and a world-class technology and product platform," said Dr. Osinski.
