Doty as Vice President Sales. Dr. Doty brings 30 years of experience in the optics and photonics industries where he has held a number of key technical and executive positions.

Dr. Doty began his career in 1971 at AT&T Bell Laboratories and spent the following 15 years in optical system research and development. His subsequent positions in product development and sales led to an assignment as director of sales at Newport Corporation, where he led the company’s North American and European expansion efforts. Dr. Doty was an instrumental part of the team that grew Newport from a small, entrepreneurial company to its position as a laboratory instrumentation market leader. Since then he has held a number of executive positions in the optics and photonics industries.
