FREMONT, CA – December 11, 2003 – Santur Corporation, a leading manufacturer of reliable, cost-effective source laser components for the telecommunications industry, today announced a supply agreement with Harris Corporation (NYSE:HRS), an international communications equipment company, to provide lasers for full C-Band widely tunable transponders. Harris Corporation has developed a family of digital transponders that address communications needs of OEMs and service providers.

Under the agreement, Santur will supply lasers for Harris’s transponder family, which provides tunable solutions for Long Reach and Long Haul applications.
