Byron joins Santur from Bookham, where he served as the VP of Sales for over 3 years. During this time, he built a world-class sales team that contributed greatly to Bookham’s success and emergence as an industry leading optical components supplier, growing from a few million in quarterly revenue to more than $40M/quarter.

Byron began his career as a Naval Officer serving in Nuclear Submarines. From there he has assumed roles of increasing responsibility in Sales and Marketing with several companies including Raychem Corporation and another Bay-Area Telecommunications start-up company, WaveSplitter Technologies.
