FREMONT, CA – November 14, 2007 – Santur Corporation, the leading manufacturer of laser array devices for the global telecommunications industry, today announced it has shipped its 100,000th widely tunable laser. Santur is the highest volume supplier of these devices. Such tunable lasers are used in long-haul and metropolitan optical networks by nearly all telecommunication carriers for data, voice and cable TV traffic. As tunable lasers replaced their fixed wavelength counterparts, Santur has seen very high demand for its product.
