Compact Full C-Band and L-Band Tunable Lasers
Santur TLB-2K
TLB-20x0-C/TLB-20x0-L are compact full C-band and L-band tunable transmission lasers built with Santur’s own proprietary DFB laser array, MEMs coupling and packaging technology. Ideally suited for use in a wide variety of DWDM Metro and LH systems, the Santur TLB-20x0-C/TLB-20x0-L is highly customizable for output power, wavelength ranges and wavelength spacings. TLB-20x0-C/TLB-20x0-L contain an integrated wavelength locker and a uniquely stable DFB laser array to offer tight wavelength accuracy needed for 40G/100G terrestrial and 10G submarine applications.
In 2008, Santur introduced a series of very high power lasers with full C/L band tunability. These fully tunable lasers can attain an output power of up to 50mW. The high RIN and OSNR of a DFB laser makes these lasers suitable for high end 40G applications at one end and WDM PON applications at the other end.
In 2008, Santur also introduced very narrow line width lasers to support
emerging coherent detection applications for 40G and 100G. These lasers
with line widths <500kHz, compare favorably with external cavity lasers
which are traditionally used for these applications.
